On Tuesday, 9 September, SABC and Hollywoodbets issued a joint media statement announcing their partnership for the upcoming Africa’s largest football event – The TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 (Afcon).
Broadcasting live on SABC 2, SABC Sport, SABC Plus, and through SABC Radio Stations, the Afcon 2025 broadcast partnership is proudly endorsed by Hollywoodbets and SABC.
From December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, millions of South Africans will enjoy free and convenient access to all 52 exhilarating matches, supporting Bafana Bafana in their quest for continental success. Fans can look forward to witnessing every goal and triumph. This partnership guarantees that millions of South Africans can easily access all the excitement across various SABC platforms, highlighting the unifying influence of sports within the country.
In addition to Afcon 2025, SABC Sport and Hollywoodbets have collaborated to provide live coverage of the FIFA World Cup 26, Horse Racing, and the English Premier League (EPL). Over the next three seasons, SABC Sport will air 38 live Premier League matches each season, spanning the 2025/2026 to 2027/2028 football seasons, furthering its dedication to making world-class sports available to all South Africans.
